01
What the client wanted from SEO
The client serves lifters across powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman, and cross-training. Its goal was to increase Organic Search revenue across every main product line, including wrist wraps, lifting straps, lifting belts, knee wraps, knee sleeves, lifting apparel, supplements, and related training gear.
Our keyword research identified a total addressable market of approximately 100,000 to 120,000 monthly searches across the product and query variants the catalog could serve. The opportunity was to give each valuable keyword group a dedicated commercial destination, then build the informational journey that helps lifters reach the right product.
02
The SEO strategy
We created a dedicated collection page for each keyword group the product catalog could satisfy. This gave high-intent searches a focused landing page instead of forcing multiple product needs through broad or overlapping collections.
We then built out the buyer funnel with blog content that addressed the questions lifters ask before they discover the client or choose a specific piece of gear.
- Build a collection page for every serviceable commercial keyword group across the catalog.
- Publish competitor comparison posts for shoppers evaluating brands and alternatives.
- Create pre-purchase gear comparisons, including content that helps lifters choose between different products and use cases.
- Cover pain points and training questions that appear earlier in the journey, before a searcher knows the client by name.
- Build three to six relevant links each month to strengthen priority commercial and informational pages.
- Launch a digital PR campaign at the one-year mark to expand authority and earn broader editorial coverage.
